The Kosovo–Türkiye Chamber of Investors (KTYO) hosted Mr. Nuhi Mazrek, Founding President of the Kosovo Businessmen's Association (KIAD), one of the leading figures of the Kosovo business community.

Established in 2010 and playing an important role in Kosovo's process of economic development, KIAD shared its many years of experience and institutional knowledge with KTYO on the occasion of this visit. At the meeting, a productive exchange of ideas took place on new areas of cooperation and projects that would strengthen commercial relations between Kosovo and Türkiye.

During the visit, Mr. Mazrek offered important advice on association governance, sustainability and the effective use of financial resources. Noting that a steady stream of income is critical to the sustainability of associations, Mazrek drew attention to the difficulties encountered in collecting membership dues and to the limitations created by Kosovo's small population. He also stressed that the country's high cash reserves must be converted into production and investment, and spoke of examples of success achieved in the furniture sector.

The meeting also gave rise to ideas on carrying out joint work between KIAD and KTYO, creating shareable office space and organising regular thematic events. At these events, planned to be held every month, the problems investors face will be addressed, while symposiums and dinner meetings will strengthen communication between business circles.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Mazrek, referring with appreciation to the leadership and vision of the Chairman of the KTYO Board of Directors, Mr. Kevork Fındık, emphasised his determination to carry the economic cooperation between the two countries even further.

This valuable visit was regarded as an important step that will strengthen the solidarity of the Turkish business community in Kosovo and the cooperation between the two associations.
