Sabri Tunç Angılı, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Prishtina, and Seda Ulukaya, Trade Counsellor of the Embassy, visited Art Aluminyum Company, one of the important building blocks of Kosovo–Türkiye economic cooperation, on 21 May 2024.
Within the scope of the visit, the company's export activities, its innovative work in the field of industry and its contributions to the Kosovo economy were evaluated in detail. Founded in 2006 by entrepreneurs from Kosovo and Türkiye, Art Aluminyum continues to grow today by increasing its production capacity with its team of 70 working in two shifts. Sixty per cent of the aluminium profiles and various products the company manufactures are sold on the domestic market, while 40 per cent are exported to many countries, above all Germany, Belgium and Albania.
Kevork Fındıklıyan, partner and General Manager of Art Aluminyum, briefed Ambassador Angılı on the company's activities, emphasising that the products they manufacture are 100 per cent of Kosovo origin. Expressing the pride they take in being present on the international market with products labelled "Made in Kosovo", Fındıklıyan noted that their production for the furniture, façade, door-and-window systems and solar panel sectors is carried out in accordance with European standards.
Ambassador Angılı, expressing his wish for the economic and commercial cooperation between Kosovo and Türkiye to continue to grow, touched upon the importance of Turkish businesspeople investing in Kosovo and of the strengthening of the bonds between the two countries. He stated that he encourages the sustainable development of such cooperations.
During the visit, views were also exchanged about the Kosovo–Türkiye Chamber of Investors (KTYO). With the assessments made on our chamber's activities and vision, the strategic importance of the Turkish investments in Kosovo was once again underlined.
As KTYO, we thank Ambassador Sabri Tunç Angılı and Trade Counsellor Seda Ulukaya for their kind visit, and we hope that the economic cooperation between Kosovo and Türkiye will grow even stronger.
